The Council of Student Ambassadors application for the 2026-2027 academic year will open in Summer 2026.


Selection Criteria

CSA membership is highly selective. Service as an ambassador is recognized by faculty, staff, and students as a high honor to which students aspire.

Ambassadors will be selected using the following criteria and guidelines:

  • Applicants must be a full-time regularly enrolled Georgia College student who expects to complete his or her degree at Georgia College.
  • Applicants should have a minimum college or high school GPA of 3.0. Members are expected to maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher throughout their time on the Council.
  • Applicants should have polished speaking skills and be able to “think on their feet.”
  • Applicants should have a professional, reliable, and motivated attitude.

Mandatory Dates*

  • Application Closes - August 31, 11:59 p.m.
  • Meet and Greet - September 2
  • Interviews - September 4 & 5
  • Induction Ceremony - September 8, 5:30 p.m.
  • Senior Preview Day Trainings - September 12 & 19
  • Senior Preview Day (formerly Fallfest) - September 20
  • New Member Trainings - Dates TBD
